Elizabeth Cooper is a board-certified, doctorally trained nurse practitioner specializing in dermatology. Her interest in healthcare began in an unexpected place during her first career as a professional ballet dancer. While struggling with stubborn acne in a profession centered around aesthetics, she met a dermatology nurse practitioner who changed both her skin and her perspective on skin health. That experience ultimately inspired her to pursue a career in nursing.
She earned both her BSN and DNP from the University of Utah, where she also served as a teaching assistant with the university's telehealth interprofessional education program throughout graduate school.
Before becoming an NP, Elizabeth spent several years working in a Level I Trauma CVICU. Although initially drawn to both cardiology and dermatology, she ultimately found her passion as a dermatology provider. At Honeydew, she combines her love for skin health with her longstanding interest in telehealth to provide accessible, patient-centered dermatology care.
