Kimberly Rossi, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist with over 25 years of clinical and faculty experience in medical dermatology. Her practice focuses on skin cancer screening and treatment. She also has a passion for treating acne patients, as she was inspired to become a dermatologist by her own acne struggles, which ultimately resolved with Accutane treatment.
Dr. Rossi obtained her BS in Animal and Veterinary Sciences and her MD from West Virginia University. She completed her dermatology residency at Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC, where she was trained by Dr. Gary Peck, one of the leaders in Accutane's development. After being nominated as Chief Resident and completing her dermatology residency, she served as Clinical Faculty at both Washington Hospital Center and Charleston Area Medical Center, where she trained medical students and residents. She subsequently started her own private practice in Charleston, WV, where she has had the pleasure of caring for her patients for the past 20 years. As a fun fact, Dr Rossi and her daughter opened a gelateria and olive oil specialty market to honor their Italian heritage.
