ZORYVE's active ingredient, roflumilast, inhibits phosphodiesterase-4 (PDE4), an enzyme that may play a role in causing conditions like plaque psoriasis and eczema when the body produces it in excess.
By modulating PDE4, ZORYVE balances the skin's immune system to decrease inflammation that drives eczema and plaque psoriasis.

Your dermatology provider will review your skin and confirm whether ZORYVE is the right fit before prescribing.

Yes. Using ZORYVE with certain medications that inhibit CYP3A4 or both CYP3A4 and CYP1A2 enzymes (such as erythromycin, ketoconazole, fluvoxamine, cimetidine) may increase systemic exposure to roflumilast and potentially increase side effects. Oral contraceptives containing gestodene and ethinyl estradiol may also interact. Tell your healthcare provider about all medications you are taking.
There are limited studies on the use of ZORYVE during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Talk to your healthcare provider to weigh the risks and benefits. ZORYVE should be avoided during labor and delivery. If you are breastfeeding, use ZORYVE on the smallest area of skin for the shortest time needed, and avoid applying it to areas that may come in contact with your baby, such as the nipple area.
ZORYVE is contraindicated in patients with moderate to severe liver impairment (Child-Pugh B or C). You should not use ZORYVE if you have certain liver problems. Talk to your healthcare provider if you have concerns about your liver health.
Yes, wash your hands after applying ZORYVE, unless you are treating your hands. This helps prevent getting the medication in your eyes or mouth.
ZORYVE should be applied once daily to the affected areas. Rub it in completely until it is fully absorbed into the skin.
ZORYVE inhibits the enzyme phosphodiesterase-4 (PDE4), which is involved in the production of pro-inflammatory chemicals in the body. By blocking PDE4, ZORYVE helps reduce inflammation, which relieves the symptoms of skin conditions like psoriasis and dermatitis.
No, ZORYVE is not a steroid. It is a steroid-free topical treatment that works differently from corticosteroids. Because it is not a steroid, it can be used over longer periods of time and on sensitive areas where steroid use may not be preferred.
ZORYVE is a prescription topical medication containing roflumilast, a phosphodiesterase 4 (PDE4) inhibitor. It works by blocking the PDE4 enzyme, which helps reduce inflammation in the skin. ZORYVE is available as a cream and a foam formulation.
